Benjamin Franklin was born in January 17, 1706. He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Franklin was an author, printer, political theorist, politician, scientist, inventor, and diplomat. As a scientist, he is known for the history of physics and for the theories of electricity. As an inventor, he is known for the lightning rod, bifocals and the Franklin stove.
Franklin being working in a printing industry in Philadelphia in 1726. In 1730 he started to dedicate to science and politics. Between 1736 and 1753 he served like secretary, member of the general assambly of Pennsylvania. He also was Pennsylvanian delegate in the Albany Congress.
In London, during the "Ley del Timbre" crisis he talked about American Rights in the House of Commons.
In march, 1795 he went to Philadelphia and he became to a member in the Second Continental Congress. Thirteen months later, he wrote the Declaration of Independence with Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
